The Bloomington Police Reserve Unit is looking for dedicated community members who want to make a meaningful impact by serving alongside the Bloomington Police Department. As a Police Reserve, you'll assist our officers on patrol, assist with calls and prisoner transports, as well as with community events, traffic control, public safety initiatives, parades, festivals, and other special assignments that help keep our city safe. No previous law enforcement experience is required, just a commitment to serving your community, a willingness to learn, and a desire to be part of a professional team. Reserve officers receive comprehensive training, gain valuable public safety experience, and have the opportunity to build lasting relationships while giving back to the community.
